J.D. Robert Keele
General Counsel, A^3 by Airbus
Rob is the General Counsel at A^3, Airbus' aerospace innovation center in Silicon Valley, with projects involving Urban Air Mobility, AI, digital design and manufacturing, autonomous aerial vehicles, eVTOL, blockchain, and UTM/ATM. Rob is also GC for A^3 subsidiary Voom, an on-demand helicopter booking platform aiming to bring urban flight to your average soul. Before becoming a lawyer, Rob held various positions as a plumber, a musician, an insurance agent, a world traveler (70 countries and counting), and an early startup employee and later executive. After graduating from NYU Law, he clerked for federal judge Kimberly Mueller, and did litigation and transactions at two firms, Simpson Thacher and Orrick. Rob also earned a Bachelor of Science from BYU and a Master of Philosophy from Cambridge University.
